Overture, Google, and PromoteMyLink.com all have tools that show you recent terms internet users have used for searches within your target market. Begin with words that first enter your mind. Usually, these are the words other people will search with too.
If you are in the clothing industry, start with keywords such as: "clothing," "shirts," and "pants.” You will see these results return a lot of information that you can use to start targeting your specific audience. Use these words to start honing in on potential site visitors and clients.
